Gracy P Stories...

Whining...

We're getting ready for bed so I told her to go tell Daddy "night, night". Well, she returned a few seconds later, visibly upset and babbling something incoherent. I said, "Gracy, quit crying so I can understand what you're saying". She stopped her little upset fit, looked at me and said, "I not crying, Mommy. I whining". lol... I looked at her face and sure enough... NO TEARS!!! Just whining.

I guess she straightened me out.

And for those of you wondering what she was upset about... I still don't know. I laughed so hard at her correcting my ignorance that I forgot to ask until just a second ago. Now she's not whining or crying but she's speaking that unknown language she reverts to in her excitement. At times like that I just smile, pat her head, and agree with whatever she is saying.
